PTA CHAIRPERSON’S SPEECH
It is my immense pleasure and honor to serve as the chairperson of the PTA of this citadel of learning. Ifako International Secondary School.
I appreciate God Almighty, The Proprietress, The Executive Proprietor, Parents, Teachers and Students of this great institution for their contributions towards moral, spiritual and academic
upliftment of the school.
Over the years PTA has not only served as a vehicle for promoting closer Parent-Teacher cooperation and Communication but has also evolved into a private role aimed at strengthening and enhancing Parent–Child relationship.
I sincerely thank our past PTA executives for their dedication and contribution. I want to assure all that these executives will record more achievement by the grace of the Almighty and support of all. Nowadays the educational system in Nigeria is facing many challenges including but not limited to abduction, child molestation, rape and cultism. The PTA will continue to provide the most useful support for our school with a view to guide against and eliminating some of these challenges.
All hands must be deck and we all must be extra vigilant in this regard. Ifako international school has been known for academic excellence both internally and externally and even in extra- curricular activities and we wish to take this to a higher level. Parents and guardians are therefore enjoined to come together and interact with school management and PTA executives to make suggestions on how to move the school to greater heights.
Thank you for your attention
