It’s my great priviledge and honour to serve as the Chairman of the P.T.A of this reputable institution of learning, Ifako International Secondary School.
Firstly, my sincere thanks go to the Almighty God, the Director, Principal, Vice Principal, P.T.A Executives, Parents, Teachers and the amazing students of this great school for their immense contribution towards supporting consistent improved moral and academic standard of the institution over the past years. The PTA hasn’t only come on board as a medium of influencing parent and management relationship but also involve in attending to privates individuals to enhance a robust relationship between parents to child and parents to teacher.
I will also use this opportunity to thank my predecessor of the PTA executives for their great contribution, innovation and commitment they invested in their time of service. I am using this medium to assure the PTA executives that their achievement was commendable, but the present executives promise to supersede their laudable achievements by the co-operative efforts, support and contribution of each member of the executive, parents and teachers.
It is obvious that educational system in present age both the private and the public schools are facing diverse challenges which but to mention a few requires urgent attention by the PTA, parents and the teachers.
These challenges include: Lack of inadequate infrastructural for standard of learning environment, outdated facilities, poor transportation system, lateness to school, lack of proper security, indiscipline and molestation.
It has proven beyond doubt that Ifako International Secondary has been recognized for academic standard and excellence both internally and externally and we admonished and encourage both the school management and the parents to collaborate with the PTA for positive ideas, suggestion and better ways to take the school to a higher height of learning.
As PTA executives we will ensure collective success of every child and thank you for supporting our effort to make every child’s potential a reality.
